Senior Finance Specialist

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Financial Specialist at EDUCATIONAL CENTRE Albania in Tirana. The Senior Financial Specialist will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, reporting, and communication activities to support the company's financial operations and decision-making processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strategic outlook with a strong background in finance capable of driving the company's financial performance and contributing to our overall strategy and growth.

Main responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies in line with the company's goals.
• Supervise the preparation of all financial reports, including monthly, 3-month and annual reports.
• Manage the company's planning and financial forecasting processes, including cash-flow budgeting and management.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory laws and financial regulations.
• Close collaboration with the management team to develop and control budgets that support the company's strategic goals.
• Analysis and management of risks affecting the company's finances and operations.
• Leading the financial team, offering guidance and support in their roles.
• Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions, investors and other stakeholders.
• Offering strategic recommendations to improve financial performance and business opportunities.

Kualifikimet

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or similar field. Master or professional certification is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial management position.
• Strong knowledge of financial statistics and accounting principles.
• Working knowledge on all statutory legislation and regulations.
• Skills in financial management software and advanced skills in Excel.
• Excellent communication, leadership and strategic thinking skills.
• Proven ability to manage, guide and direct employees to ensure that appropriate financial processes are being used.
• Deep knowledge of financial statistics and accounting principles.
